Has it been 2 months?

It is hard to believe that it has been two months since I last blogged.
I am amazed at how much time it takes to get things done when one is living in transition. We just found out that our furniture is going to be another week in transit after waiting three weeks already! We are doing fine and it could be a lot worse, but we are so ready to be moved in an focus on more than survival.
In the midst of it all I have had some good time to see God work here in Norfolk. People are starting bible studies (I just learned that "biblestudy" is not a word???)
and ministries are growing in their influence. As I write this, a bible study is about to start at an apartment complex called Gosnold for the chronically homeless.
If I had to choose a subject for this edition of the "assassin" it would be the new movie that is hitting theaters called "Expelled." Ben Stein does a great job exposing Darwinism for what it is. Challenging the experts on the origin of the first cell, molecule, etc. was fascinating. It amazed me how many resorted to some far fetched alien theory. It is easier to accept aliens than God. The other fascinating bridge was that between Darwinism and Nazi Germany. I had never considered some of the implications and connections that existed between these movements, but Stein does a pretty thorough job showing their connection. Then also with Planned Parenthood, we are challenged to consider what is behind these movements and what they have done to the faith of our society.
I pray that this is not just another documentary, but that we are going to see some ripples from this giant stone that has been cast into the waters of scientific complacency.
That's all for now. May the force be with you!
